Victoria Clark

The Writer

I began writing once I fell in love with classics like the 1997 film Rodger & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. This was my first example of representation which inspired me to create stories that included my community.

Now I tell unheard stories of intersectional beings through fiction, poetry, and especially journalism. This led me to my first fellowship with Lede New Orleans and my blog, Identity Black Woman.

The Social Media Coordinator

My love for writing is further amplified when incorporated with social media. To tell unheard stories on social media is to expand reach.

My work in social media led me to become a 2021 Meta HBCU Fellow, working with EBONY Magazine, and currently being a 19th News Fellow.
